Tip number one......
Don't defoliate.
Less leaves = less energy being made = less growth.
It really is that simple!
Tip number two.....
add some mycorrhizae to your substrate, your plants will actually really, really benefit from them!
Tip number three.......
forget molasses, it does basically nothing and is BS.
Give your plant humic acid, fulvic acid and amino acids, these will do 10,000 times more benefit to your plant than sugar water (molasses).
Tip number four........
go easy on the feeding, gentle feeding often is better than heavy feeding all at once.
For example, half strength every 10-12 days is better than full strength every 14 days.
Tip number five.........
always water to run off and don't water again until the top inch or so has dried out again.
Watering to run off helps prevent nutrient salts building up in the substrate and is also the only way to know that the water has got to the bottom of the pot, which is where most of the roots will be heading.
Tip number six (the most important one).......
love your plants like they are your children and don't expect them to perform like machines, they are unique, individual, organic living beings!
Good luck and happy growing,
Organoman.
