there are so many ways to germinate seeds, some work better than others, here are a few ways that i have tried that do work, right now i am using root riot cubes, i put the seed directly in the cube, the seeds pop in 5-7 days this way, sometimes quicker. i use a 2 liter bottle that has been cut in half to make a humidity dome, once i see the seedling up i put the cube right in to the grow medium. i have also used the paper towel method and most seeds pop with in 7 days, once i see the tap root out, i put in to the grow medium and wait. last i have used the soaking method, i soak over night then plant right in to medium. all of these work great, i prefer putting the seed into root riot cubes as they almost all pop with in 5 days and is so much easier to start a garden. there is nothing wrong with autos, i have been growing for 20 plus years and autos are a great way to get a good harvest. i run both autos and photoperiod. i hope the gemination works out for you, happy growing

i am growing autos for 5 years and only autos. some think that autos are for amatures but for me growing auto is much complicated! so i tried all the methods and the best way is to put a seed in the glass of ph ballanced water for maximum 24 hours and than straight in the final pot. thats it. easy and safe. use calimag bufferd coco-perlit mix and water with ph balanced water with calmag init beforethe true leaves apear and than u can slowly start adding other nutrients. happy growing

With autoflowers. Reducing time spent germinating and sprouting, the better. But I use this method for all seeds. I use a cup of water and let the seeds soak for 1 or 2 days. I'm only germinating in water to confirm the seed is active and growing. This is an easy way to look for duds. As soon as I see the shell crack open with a tap root,, I know the plant is active and will grow. Its best to plant it immediately into soil after confirming success. Don't let the tap root grow in the water. The seedling is using energy growing in the water. You want that seedling grabbing ahold of the soil and sprouting up asap.

Soak seeds in a jar of water in a dark warm place for 14 hours then plant directly into your pots.
