Not just by looks anyway. If it came from a female plant treated with colloidal silver, then it's almost definitely female. If it came from a female gone herm, then it's probably female but has a higher chance of also going hermie. If it's a random seed though, it's about a 60% chance of being female.

There is absolutely no way in the world to be able to tell if a regular seed will either be a male or female plant. Absolutely no way. You need to plant it, wait for it to grow and induce flowering or take a tissue sample to a specialized laboratory, like Phylos BioScience, pay mega bucks and they might be able to tell you based on chromosome identification. Hope this helps,..... Organoman.

Options: #1 Grow seedling the top once u have 3 nodes. Take the topped node and clone it. Once rooted clone then flower clone and see if male or female. #2 take seedling and put in 12/12 it will veg for a bit but eventually will show and then you can flower it. When you lollipop during flower take a cutting and clone it to keep around. #3 (not recommended) you can put the seedling to flower then once it shows sex you can return it to veg again. Plant may get stressed and take a while to start revegging again. Because of the process of reg seeds I only use reg seeds if I’m using mr nice genetics or my own custom crosses.

Unfortunately growing it to maturity is the only way to determine sex of a plant grown from a regular seed. Look to the preflowers that come at the main nodes first. Those pre flowers will be your first tell tale signs of gender.
