White ash is from not having to much carbon build up in plant cell walls if your not droping potasium after week 4-5 you will have bavk ash property flushing the root media between fertilizer changes ensures the plant only gets what I want her to get and not what was left over from the week before feed

First Time I did Flawless Finish for the last week I saw huge results I saturate media with it at 8ml per gallon let it sit for 6-8 hours then use Sledgehammer to flush it out and let the plant go on plain water https://cannacon.org/dispelling-the-myths-the-importance-of-flushing-your-plants-before-harvest/

Everything you need to know about flushing and how to do it properly for your grow it not about cleaning the plant it is about pushing her to feed off of her food starage just like a apple tree using all her energy in the leaf to produce fruit as fast as she can they don’t have time to make energy and fruit https://www.edrosenthal.com/the-guru-of-ganja-blog/flushing-cannabis-guide-everything-you-want-to-know

HEy there ooOGAuto, you're basically almost at around 80% meaning you can probably start a two week flush starting next week. You'll be cruising into week 12 , maybe even less. Trichomes are all a bit different depending on the genetics, some genetics get a lot of bright white trichomes, others get more cream colored and pearl colored , some less bright than others. Just keep an eye out for that in the next 14 days, you're basically done with the growing part of the grow, next is the drying and curing. hope this helps ! 🚀

still there's one valid reason for flushing: save on the nutrients bill for one or two weeks per run.

to be clear, the only criticism below was aimed toward those repeating the urban myth in spite of better available knowledge that completely debunks it. if this is the first you've heard of it, do some googling... you'll find blind taste tests and advanced methods and equipment like gas chromotography can prove all the previously stated reasons as nonsensical and having nothign to do with reality of the situation.

Do you have some toxicity or otherwise overfeeding the plant? There is absolutely no valid reason to flush. All the reasons previously given were untrue. Making up new reasons midstream should raise a red flag about the integrity of such claims and those that make them. That becomes more about ego and refusing to admit being wrong about something in such an embarassing way that most cannot allow it to happen. This stuff happens all the time when you rely on anecdotal information. A large portion of it will be based on belief and not facts. Relying on human senses to resolve things beyond our capabillities never ends well... assuming things aobut plant biology with no degree or experience beyond gardening hobby, lol... it's just sillyness. I'm usually pretty good at weeding out the magic fro the fact, but i even got suked up into the idea it's somehow beneficial to cause a fade at the end... i was retarded. It's tough to admit sometimes... but clinging to something that is wrong is far more embarassing. LOL
