Could be a few factors... The most important thing is that these small round leaves are baby leaves & are going to die off regardless... As to why it's happened so early? Could be as little as environmental factors like humidity, temp or other. Could also be something external like pH, too high nitrates or even too much water... Many different things cause these unexplained changes in plant behaviour... Way to many for reasons as to why this could happen, I'd need way more information about who what when why, before I could give you a single answer... Hope this helped 💯 Could even be as simple as a single mutation...

Hi friend, Leaving here a good source of info. Short story, as the plant grows those leaves out live their purpose and die. Find more on the article below. https://www.marijuanadoctors.com/weed-101/cannabis-dictionary/cotyledon-leaves-cannabis/ Good luck ;)

The small rounded leaves are known as "cotyledons" and their only purpose is to protect the growing tip as it pushes through the soil. After the seedling sprouts, their job is done, so they generally turn yellow, die and fall off or shrivel up anyway, which is all perfectly normal behaviour for cannabis plants. The cotyledons doing so will not affect anything and it is not a sign of disease or deficiency or anything you have/have not done, they just die as part of the normal growing process.

My take is that you're talking about the cotyledon and it's nothing to worry about at all... the other leaves look really good and strong and healthy... the cotyledon will always die off early. Good luck!

rock wool's not great for plants, that's just the truth, it will damage or cut through roots and create microlesions that can get infected and cause stress... organic root plugs are better , you're only really using rockwool to grow sterile. Hope this helps ! 🚀
