Tropicalstorm

Hi! I'm starting the 6th week of flowering and I'm noticing a lot of leaves yellowing. Is it normal? She was a bit nutriend burned so I was giving a lot of water over the past days. Thank you.

Some plants stay green all the way to harvest while others can develop a lot of yellow. I even have some tomatoes that will continue producing fruit late in the season after most of the leaves have fallen. A plant's number 1 goal in life is to live long enough to reproduce. Everything supports that goal so a plant will put their last bit of energy into producing flowers/seeds even to the detriment of the plant itself.

Hi mate. Keep feeding up to one week before harvest. Then water to flush out the nutes. Wait for all them trichomes to be cloudy with a few turning Amber before you harvest. Most pistils will have browned by then also. Regarding the leaves turning yellow, it happens. Remember at this point the plant won't be concentrating on its leaves. It will actually start cannibalising the leaves near the end, especially if it needs more nutrition.

But isn't early 6 weeks a little early for that? Should I just start flushing? I was going to give ferts this week and then 2 weeks of flush. Thanks!

You say you're close to harvest so I wouldn't worry about it... the plant is probably reacting to all the water you've been giving her (sounds almost like a flush!) ... If the trichomes are looking good (getting amber), I'd tell you to ignore the yellowing leaves and just prep for the flush and harvest! Looks like it's going to be a good one! Good luck!
