I want a light upgrade, for when i flip to flowering. Atm i have https://420expertguide.com/grow-light/viparspectra-300w/ And i found https://www.spider-farmer.com/products/sf-1000-led-grow-light/ My tent is 80x80-6ftx6 Would one SF1000 be enough? (go for two? Found a good offer)

sf1000 is only 100W VS your Vipar 300W. it would not be a upgrade if you used just the sf1000 for flower, it would be a massive downgrade. Keep using the 300W. If you wanted to add the sf1000 on top of the Vipar 300W and make it 400W then sure it could work in a bigger tent, but its par map in the tent will be weird. your tent is 80x80x198 cm or 2x2x6'6" yea? L x W x H, then just use the 300w don't add in the sf1000. it would be better for vegging out a plant in a separate tent. Good Luck!

I think that if you're spending money then lights are first priority they will grow very slowly with the purple leds but it's you're grow but mine hermie with purple leds so I upgraded

Can rotating my 12 hour cycle back a few hours over the course of 3 nights harm my plant mid flower?If i were to manually flip my lights on and off an hour early for 3 nights to adjust my 12/12 from 9am-9pm to 6am-6pm would it be detrimental to the plants? White and blurple led in same tent?I recently upgraded to a TS1000 for my flower tent, and am waiting on an SF1000D for my veg tent, and now have a tmlapy “1500w” blurple sitting around. Would i gain anything running the blurple and ts1000 in the same tent? Or is it not worth the extra energy consumption

LED distance to plant advice Interested in how close I can get my 630w LED with a rating of 2.7μmol/W and 1700 PPF to my canopy. I had it hung 48cm (19 inches) on 380w and just upped it to 500w day 8 in flower. Does this sound too close at 500w or is this ok? Temp is 25C (77F) humidity 55%.

Lux Meter Apps on Smartphones What are your thoughts on Lux meter apps? The app on my Samsung Galaxy S10+ is showing 16,600 Lux at the tops of the seedlings, and converting that to a rough PPFD shows 222.55/umol/s/m². Reading more, 15k-45k Lux and 200-400 PPFD is good for early veg. What are your thoughts?
