Should I throw a net on her to limit her height or continue LST and leaf tucking? I’m siding with the latter but maybe it will help her in flowering as well if I spread her canopy under a net? Week 5 and showing pre flowering.

Hi @Dperez006! I would not add a net to this baby, this would make your life much harder. Remember that once it's in place, you won't be able to do anything, whereas a smart LST would allow you to adjust her shape continuously. If you're worried about heights issue, then try to bend the main stems at a 45° angle, and/or try to supercrop her. The net-technique could be great with regular (non-autos) strains, but autoflowers grow too fast and are too sensitive to really make the most of this technique. Hope this makes sense, let me know in the comments section if you need any further information, and happy growing! 👊

Keep doing lst and leaf tucking then add a net after you flip her to bloom if you add it now it may wind up being too low. Hope this helps👍

Continue LST and leaf tucking , even if you aff a net in a week or 2 the plants will already be in a good way.

Doing a scrog is really personal preference or depends on what you are growing in. For example if you are using cloth/airpots it is really easy to use the pot as an anchor to tie the branches down. That's what I have done every grow I've done so far. However, if you are using plastic pots, 5-gallon buckets(like in dwc), etc. with no really good areas to anchor the ties to, then a scrog is really handy. The other thing to consider is if you need to move the plant at all. With a scrog the plant cannot be moved. That's generally fine if you don't need to take the plant out of the tent at all. I will be using a scrog for my current grow as I have set up an auto watering system using universal floraflex caps and no longer have a good way to tie my plants down and won't have a need to move them anymore as I don't have to lift them to drain their saucers with the flood tray I got. So, in the end, it is really up to what you think is best.

Yes throw a net on her. Gently spread canopy even. Give 3 days to recover. Flip to flowering and continue to tuck branches underneath net at least two weeks into flower. You will end up with a nice even canopy net full of buds.
