I'm getting green mold on my root riots because of overwatering, i made the transplantation but I should have waited till the roots got deeper probably, I irrigated too soon. I irrigate now only when it is a bit dry. Is it bad ?

Don’t worry about it to much. My rapid rooters will get green algae from keeping them to moist. You can cover them so light doesn’t hit them, or just let them dry out more. They just need to be slightly damp. I use to over water them, now I know I can apply a few drops of water daily or twice a day until roots break the net pot then I let them dry out completely.

It's not mold just algea. They need moist and light to grow. So in your case they are not harmfull because they can only grow on the visible spot on top where the light can reach.

I agree with chow_13... they are not molds but algae. they don't cause big problems. cover with clay and without light no more algae will grow. a greeting !

In general, you should not worry about this green mold. it won't damage the roots.

Your going to want to cover the peat pellet with more clay pebbles. Light is causing your problem and once you stop the light the green will go away. Happy Growing
