Stem base too skinny

Hello, I notice the base of my plant, the main stem, is way skinnier then the upper part! It is 4 weeks old. Is that ok? Or how could be solved?

I would pull up the soil or add more soil so the thin part of the stem is underground.... the soil should stabilise the plant and the stem should start producing more roots for you.

Will this tape repair a broken stem?Should I re-wrap this broken stem? Bent with too much pressure and there was a snap, though not completely severed. The Westcoast Og from 420Fastbuds got hardly damaged at the Stem.
Its now 9 Days since and the Plant is growing fine, the Stem is extremely thin at one Point.
Im Afraid that the Weight will be to big for the thin part of the Stem.
