Don't grow autos! Grow photoperiod fems and that way you can control when flowering occurs and only once YOU are satisfied with their height. Autos really are not for beginners, they need advanced skill and top equipment to get best results. Photoperiod fems will allow you to learn a lot more about cannabis cultivation and handle small mistakes far better. Autos are not all what the hype makes them out to be and photo fems are much more stable and rewarding. Generally, with autos 18/6 is best and lighting quality needs to be top shelf and strong. Also, topping and defoliation should be avoided when growing autos.

Their focus will be on flower production from here out. Autos have less wiggle room for recovery time or stunt recovery. Strains very a lot but autos do better using the least energy possible. Your problem could be too much/little light. 16/8 usually good for autos. Anything that isn't ruderalis will be easier to control.

I strongly suggest starting off with photoperiod plants instead of autos. Photoperiods are much more forgiving to the learning curve of new growers. Little mistakes add up with autos and stunted plants don't have time to truly recover sometimes.

1. Growers with experience say that autos don't grow well in soil - try coco coir. 2. You did your first grow in 15 liter pots and plants were taller than now - you are using 5 liter pots. 3. They are growing in perfect environment - they start flowering at week 3. I, for instance, did all the possible mistakes with my auto that newbie could do and she grew taller than 1 meter.
