I started noticing a few mites , which I mistook for orange fruit flies or something. Also there were 3-4 green ones but I could not find any kind of colony and thoroughly blew air through all the leaves. Should I take any more measures at this point of flower?

High, If you want to catch one to identify you can always hang tape just above the plants or pots. Your plants are almost ready so if it doesn't get worse I would not use any pesticide at this stage. Goodluck and Happy Harvest! 😋

I would get a handle on this as quickly as possible because mites can become a HUGE issue. For me, neem oil is NOT what I would choose, especially in flower (do you really want OIL coating your trichs?!) ... and beneficial nematodes or any other beneficial bud (ladybugs come to mind) are great - but they are slow... If I were you, I'd reach for some spinosad or Dr. Zymes Eliminator both of which are organic and can be used all the way up to harvest... There's no particular value to identifying exactly WHAT kind of mite you have - they're all bad and they can all be taken care of with some spinosad or Dr. Zymes... Good luck!

I've had mite issues with a couple of my indoor grows and found that defoliating fan leaves had a noticeable impact on the population of mites as there was less breeding grounds for them. The biggest mistake i made was trying to introduce a natural predator to take care of the mites as it required you to deposit vermiculite-like soil on the effected areas of the plant, these rocks stuck to the bud and mite population didn't even drop, it just made harvesting and trimming a nightmare. Also your plant might still have another 4 weeks left, a low population of mites don't impact the yield too much however get a large number of them and it will decimate your yield. Just aim to reduce their numbers by defoliation or changing some of the grow environment climate to try and curve mite population.

@Hello_Jeff now would be the better time to be preventative if you have an issue Neem oil is great but should be done sparingly during early flowering

You could try some beneficial mites from your local grow store. but they tend to get stuck in the trichomes a bit unless they are the ones that will go into the webs and eat them. I also think you will have a few more weeks then just two left. permethrin's are an option, then you can wash your buds end of harvest to get most of it off. My hydro shop guys told me that the one brand they sell will evaporate off by the time harvest is done. In my case of trying to manage the mites that was about 5 weeks left, I went with a predator mites just in case and they managed some of it, I also sprayed them with a tea made out of flowers and mint in my garden as they where not attacking them plants so figure the smell would help rid them of the plant. It worked for a little bit. Get a can of hairspray and a lighter and make a makeshift flame thrower, that'll teach them and as a bonus raise co2 in the tent, win win 👍
