if your looking for amounts of cal/mag, it depends on which medium you grow in. Coco always add a little, peatmoss, maybe add once through the entire grow, hydroponics add a little once a week, soil add a little once every week or 2. for peatmoss I add 150 ppm worth of cal/mag once. Coco I would add every second or third watering at 150 ppm. Don't exceed your max ppm, ec. All additives get added to your total ppm

If your starting with clones or seeds in DWC it really depends on what nutrients your using. But on average over using a different set of nutrients on different grows for my DWC buckets, I start at a ppm of 350-400. But you may have to raise that a lot in the next few weeks. With general hydroponics nutrients I was low ppm for the first few weeks. With Lotus nutrients I’m already at 1200ppm at week 4 veg and I’ve never raised my ppm so high before. I should also say it’s strain dependent as well. Some plants really eat like OG strains or White Widow. All autoflowers take less from my experience
