High suchydog, Growers use deoliation for 2 reasons. The first reason is to create airflow when the leaves are laying on top of eachother. And the second 1 is creating equal light for every budsite and branch. So for example cut a few large leaves on the top that block the sun light for all the leaves below. Your plants do not need defoliation because you have enough airflow and the sun light can reach all the leaves and budsites. You can do defoliation when she is 2 weeks into flowering because then you can see what budsites will grow fat buds and whitch ones will not develop enough to be taken serious. This way your plant is fully focussing on the big and fat buds! Happy Growing! 😋

You don't want to do anything stressful to autoflowers. They are finicky and fragile. So, my answer is no. You don't want to defoliate your plant.

Why? What for? Defoliation is not a necessary "technique" when growing and especially not outdoors. Just remember.... Less leaves = less energy being made = less growth.

This has been a popular question. I would not be defoliating your plant, its still small and the canopy is not yet developed enough. One rule of thumb for the future is to only remove the bigger fan leaves leaves that are blocking other sites below from getting light. This combined with trying to keep the tent floor/medium surface in shade and no direct light beams hitting them are good things to keep in mind when thinking about removing leaves. Also the plant uses the leaves to make energy and grow so its not the best thing to remove any of them when not needed. Hi I just looked through your diary. I can't decide if your growing them outside at home or if your in a gorilla spot. My advice would be if your in a gorilla spot then leave everything on because if you can't get to them regularly you may find pests invade and the more green you have the more chance of surviving an attack. If in your garden for now I would leave them as is. In a week or 2 if they look over bushy ask again.

I don't think you have a reason to defoliate now... and plants need all the leaves they have for photosynthesis. If one of the fan leaves is hiding a bud site, try tucking it under to give more light to that bud site.... But this doesn't look like you need to be concerned at all just yet. Looks very good! Cheers!
