I’ve done it all.. hydro may be a lick stronger but not by more than a few percentage points in cannabinoids.. Start out simple. A good medium is coco or peat.. aka “soilless” This is a middle ground between true hydroponics and soil.

Also just to add. All growing methods have there pros and cons. It ends up being whatever suits you really.

Hydroponics is a different ball game altogether. Hydro you need to use a different ph range then soil. Soil you can get away with water for 1st 3 weeks, hydro you pretty much need to add nutes from the start. Mistakes take longer to show and develop in soil, hydro is quite the opposite, mistakes show quickly and progress quickly so you need to be on your toes with hydro.

High Bufon, When growing in soil you got a nutrients buffer. But when growing in a hydro system you need to cotrol all the right amounts of nutrients. Hydro could be better when you are experienced and know exactly what nutrients you need to give in what stage and howmuch your plant needs. You can do and measure all of this with a EC and pH meter. But when it is your first time I would first try to grow in soil. When you got a succesfull harvest then switch to coco because this is between soil and hydro. And when you mastered these mediums you can try to go full hydrophonics. Happy Growing! 😋
