Yep, I'm with granny on this one. 60°F and 60% humidity. Don't have fans blowing directly on your buds. You want air being moved around the buds, not being blown right at them. So, two fans. One below the buds, one above. Then, set them up so the fan below the buds is close to the door and blowing air into a back corner of the room. The fan above the buds should be blowing air towards the door. A better dehumidifier is always an option. You can cut off fan leaves if you hung while branches or plants. That would also help drop the humidity. I hope this helped. Good luck!

My ideal situation for drying is a temp of 60 and a humidity level of 60% - that's IDEAL... it will allow for a nice, long drying process but is not always achievable.. but yes, I would be concerned if the humidity got into the 70s. You just need to run a dehumidifier and keep it emptied. If you're drying in a tent, there are great SMALL dehumidifiers available that should knock that percentage down - and if you can get it into the 60s, even mid- to upper 60s, you'll be ok... And get more air movement AROUND the buds (not directly AT them) ... this will help fight against the humidity even if you can't get the humidity down. This has been a tough year for weather conditions all over... for me, it's been a constant battle with both heat AND humidity and sometimes our best efforts just aren't very effective against Mother Nature... but good luck to you... all you need to do is to avoid rot or fungus and if you can do that you're golden... you might have a long drying period... but that's ok... Good luck....

ventilate inside the tent and lower the temps if high

High, When you want to keep a stable hunidity at your drying room you can consider buying a dehumidifier. Some people might tell you that you can use rice or salt or silica gel... I tried these methods and they all suck!!! Then I bought a dehumidfier for like and I do have a perfect humidity during drying for a few years already! Growers often turn to heating systems or HVAC in an attempt to remove moisture from the air, but the only efficient method to reduce humidity at a sufficient pace is with dehumidification. While heating does reduce relative humidity, it’s very problematic in drying rooms, which require a cool environment to preserve terpenes and maintain the highest bud quality. High temperatures may harm the buds, reducing their potency and value. Cooling with an HVAC is another method growers use to reduce humidity. But HVACs don’t excel at humidity extraction. Though they’re able to remove some water vapor, as a side-effect of the cooling process, they’re inefficient at the task. Using HVAC for humidity reduction results in higher energy consumption and lower water extraction rates than dehumidifiers. Happy Drying! 😋
