Cob Curing Taste and Process

High guys, Next weekend I will help a friend with harvest. And he wants to COB CURE his weed. But we never tried this method before. So I want to ask the growmies, have you ever tried to cob cure the weed? How was the smoke compare to regular dried and cured weed? Thanks guys!

Hi, there is a reason most people don't do this anymore and use grove bags or glass jars to cure. I used to buy Malawi Cob's when I was younger and although it was a novelty to buy a cob, the flower inside was often harsh and either too dry or moldy. Curing inside something organic that's moisture content isn't very stable is incredibly difficult to do well. Good luck if you do end up trying, but I would definitely suggest a more standard method of curing.

Mit dem trocknen an sich reduziert man die Feuchtigkeit um etwa 10-15%. Dies geschieht idealerweise bei etwa 21° C Raumtemperatur und etwa 60% Luftfeuchtigkeit. Das anschließende aushärten dient unter anderem dazu , die verbliebene restfeuchtigkeit abzubauen. Zudem baut sich Chlorophyll ab, THC wird psychoaktiv und die Terpene entwickeln ihre Aromen. Es reicht leider nicht nur, das Gras einfach zu trocknen. Es muss reifen. Ich schätze der Rauch wird kratzig und nicht besonders geschmackvoll sein. Zudem ist die Wirkung warscheinlich anders als erwartet🤔
