How to reduce humidity while drying in grow tent?

I have a small monkey fan and the extractor turned on with a tent vent open for airflow but I'm currently getting 70% Humidity. The whole trimmed plant is hanging in the tent. Would I be better chopping up the plant and paper-bag drying it instead?

Thanks guys, no dehumidifier just the extractor fan and Monkey fan for air movement. Its weird warm damp weather here in the UK. I might be best chopping the branches off then and drying somewhere else, that will give me an excuse to do a full clean of the tent ready for the next grow.

If you already have a dehumidifier, trim all the shade leaves off of the plant. Only leave nuggets and sugar leaves. If that doesn't drop the relative humidity enough, cut all of the branches off of the trunk and hang them. Good luck!

And btw, I assume you have a dehumidifier going... but all you have to do is lower that humidity to 60%... ideal drying conditions are 60F and 60% humidity...

With that much humidity, you might well be better off if you chop it up and hang the separate branches... I would also encourage you to do some wet trimming and get rid of all those leaves that are only pumping out their moisture into the air ... about the last thing you need right now is to have bud rot set in! Get your trim scissors out, trim 'em up and hang the separate branches... have air flow AROUND them (not directly on them) ... if the humidity is drier outside the tent and you can close off the room the tent is in, I'd close off the room and open the tent... they'll still be in the dark and even having more area for the humidity to permeate might help bring it down around your buds... This has been a nightmare season for a lot of folks having to deal with humidity... best of luck to you!
