Yeah, if you're going to rinse (or, as we usually say, flush), you'd have to estimate when you're going to harvest but that shouldn't be a concern... If you end up starting to flush earlier than necessary, that's ok... you'll just flush for longer. If you start flushing too late, that's ok, too, as SOME flush is better than NO flush. And some growers, particularly growers who use organic nutes, don't flush at all. There's a lot of debate as to whether or not the chemicals in non-organic nutes make the smoke taste bad - if you've got a highly developed sense of taste, it probably does... but that's really the only reason folks flush - either they've been told they SHOULD do it or they don't like the taste of the chemicals (I can't taste anything myself... ). Right now, though, you have nothing to concern yourself with! Good luck!
