Brownish stem color after supercropping

Is it normal that the stem turns brownish at the bending site, on all four supercropped plants? It must be, since all flowers and leaves are looking perfectly healthy on the bent apexes, but still I wonder whether it may become weak spots later. Thanks!

Yes, it's just scarring. They normally end up being stronger because of it.
