Hello. I'll give it a try. Just general speaking about seeds - each plant will produce a wide range of seeds. Some will be very high test; most will be average for the strain, and some will be bunk, low grade. So, when I start seeds, I start more than 1 seed to get a good idea of how the strain grows. Some seeds will grow normal as the seed description explains, and some won't. Even stranger is some will mutate?!? So mostly, the plants will grow the same but then you get a weird one every once and a while. Even the best genetics or the best breeder will have seeds that fall short of the seed description. It's just the way nature works. You do all you can, to make the best seeds and nature throws a curve sometimes. So, if the breeder is good one and the strain is a good one maybe you just got one of those low-test seeds. It's one of the more common questions we get on the question page.
Light and heat and oxygen will destroy THC. The only reason that you put your buds in the oven is to turn the THCA into THC so when you eat it, your body will be able to take it in. If you are just smoking it, the heat of the burning will turn the THCA into THC that your lungs can absorb. Don't put your buds in the sun. It will destroy the THCA and other cannabinoids and terpenes. Also, the bottom buds have a lower range of THCA than the top part of the plant. When I take tester buds, I just let them dry on the desk for 3 or 4 days. Or in a dark place. Give it another try, but a bit more patient this time.
One more thing, didn't like the whitewizard answer. whitewizard is an angry guy. maybe it should answer questions.
