Grower mates, what are your opinion about something that i lately noticed. Despite of the evolution on genetics in the last years, have you noticed that it is a true lottery get strains with different phenotypes of the ones that are announced by sellers? Tell me your experience!

Yes, practically all the time! Keep in mind that it takes about 2 years of work (so at least 5 generations) to stabilize a genetic. But as we all know, every year new varieties come out as a result of crosses of the previous year's varieties! So basically a scam, the only safe varieties, are the older ones! By making a cross, the first generation will have 50% similarity to the mother, and 50 to the father, so when you plant something new, you know very well that it is not stable at all. You have 99% stability only after about 9-10 generations

Crap shoot is saying it mild. I had some Bloody Skunk Auto from Sweet Seeds. 99% are supposed to be red, all 3 were green. Bruce Banner Auto from ILGM. 4 plants 2 green, 1 purple, and 1 speckled purple and green.

In my two current grows, with two strains - one advertised as Sativa Auto and the other with a 75 Indica and 25 Sativa ratio, I ended up with a perfect Indica from the Sativa Auto, and the one with the 75 Indica/25 Sativa ratio developed the lesser predominance, meaning I got a Sativa. Two different breeders, both of whom I consider to be very good developers of genetics, with strains that are well-regarded in the seed market and with very good results, and this season I got "lucky" with two phenotypes that were different from what I expected, which led me to the particular cultivation of each strain. Do you also think that the mass availability of "seed" options contributes to these less desirable results? Are there factors that contribute to the development of contrary phenotypes or with the "recessive" phenotype of the presented ratios? Your comments and opinions are very important...

What are the cheap and effective ways you do to prevent rot?

Second seed had been growing wrong way up.Turns out my second seed was growing upside down and the taproot had been growing towards the light for ~8 days. I've since transplanted and the seed doesn't seem to be growing much at all; although it has changed colour from being a yellowish hue to green. Is it likely a dud now6y ago

Will there always be fresh bud growth on an auto-flower (max thc/no couch-lock goal)?ready for harvest bc most of the pistils are mature? Clearly not yet because of new growth? Humbldot Blue Dream Auto Wont bloom - Help neededI have a 5x5 tent 6 auto's growing it right now.
Planted all seeds same day. 2 of them are B.Dream Auto by Humbldot and they are still veg while other on late bloom.
IMO 12/12 for 2-3 days wont help. Any other ideas? Anyone had same experience?

Should I just eject these from the garden????The new plants are looking good and my old ones look sad. Supposed to be autoflowers? They had thrips early on which caused havok. These days i dont know what they are doing. they are probably 4 months old now. new growth, some looks like reveg, some looks like bud.
