Weak stems - Silica?

Should I be adding silica to my soil? My last few grows have produced plants that had weak stems that flop over as the buds develop.

Silica will certainly help as will H2O2... If you get heavy buds that flop over, just support them any way you can - from the bottom, from the top - whatever works. Good luck!

Volcanic rock dust is a great source of silica and many other trace elements. Blood and bone meal is a good source of calcium, another "stem strengthener".
