Start flushing for harvest?

CoughingKitty
CoughingKittystarted grow question a year ago
Should I start flushing based off the few amber trichomes speckled throughout and the amount of orange hairs? Pictured is a tiny section, theres about 20 on the whole leaf. I wanted a couple more weeks of flower but seeing those amber trichomes has me rethinking.

Na give it another 10-14 days I’d say from a few different indicators.. Most autos end up taking 70-90 days at least Make sure you’re looking at the trichs on the bracts/calyxes. Not the sugar leaves..

Do not look at trichromes on leaves. Look at actual ones on Buds. But you may be getting close. I usually start a 2 week flush once the mass of the pistils have turned red or brown.

Hey Growmie, I would judge the trichomes on the actual buds, not the sugar leaves to judge if the plant is ready for harvest, remember the trichomes on the leaves mature faster and could have you harvesting a plant before it's ready, and in this case, the plant has some more time to go. Hopefully, this was helpful, and remember ... "Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time"

Patience my fellow Growmie, patience. Personally I like to go for 50/50 milky/amber for that couch lock high baby! She still got some time to ripen up yet. Just keep a close eye on your trichs each day (only on flower and not sugar leaves) as the window of perfection comes and goes fast! Happy Growing 🙂
