Is it too late for more defoliation

Is it too late for more heavy defoliation? Last Sunday I did a lot of trimming and thought I'd over done it, now I realise I didn't do nearly enough. She's switched to flower and I was going to change to bloom nutrients today. Thanks guys

I'd go for it - it's certainly not "too late" - and I've had at least one grow where I had to defoliate all the way up to 2 weeks before harvest! This is a super article on the subject if you're interested: https://www.growweedeasy.com/nebulas-super-simple-3-step-defoliation-tutorial Good luck!

Thanks for the input guys. Just to add some more information she's an auto and I'm judging the stage by pistols/ growth pattern. She'll always be on 18hours of day light. I'm using vitalink fertiliser and I think their schedule would be to switch to bloom nutrients about now. I'm worried doing that and trimming might hurt her. But I think I'm going to go for it.

If she is an auto, you don't need to "flip" to 12/12, autos are meant to flower at 18/6......... Just remember, - maximum amount of leaves = maximum amount of energy production = maximum amount of growth. or.... less leaves = less energy = less growth.

After you flip to 12/12 you have 3 weeks or more of vege growth before it slowly stops stem elongation and leaf growth (vegetative growth). So, it will grow back at this point still... if you want to heavily defoliate it, you can do so and expect it to regrow. Less is more with defo... improve air flow if concerend about microbial growth... maybe, helping some lower bud sites with greater light penetration is a net benefit? I think that last one depends on context a bit... if you do extractions/cooking etc, the larfy stuff is nothing but a boon to you and hardly impacts upper nugs. But, the maximized use of light is the portion receiving strongest light, which is your canopy. if you want no larf, lollipopping and a little extra defo might be for you.
