My plants have a dense foliage and some branches are outgrowing the main colas. I've been tucking the fan leaves around and I tried to gently push the branches to the sides but I think that might not be enough. What can I do to fix both things without stressing them too much? 😵

Hi @BigBadLion! Nice plants in here! I also went through this kind of issue, and ended up putting a scrog-net above my canopy, in order to open up everything and increase light penetration. However this will work only if you have enough space left. That being said, from my experience with RQS, their strains seem really strong, I do believe you can remove most of the leaves without stressing the plants too much, that's what I did with my last OGKush run, because I had no other choice buds were hidden in shades, this didn't stop the plant from building big dense colas. You could continue to do LST but be a little more aggressive when tying down the branches. Supercropping is another option but it is considered a high stress training techniques. The less of the stem you break, the less stress on the plant (obviously haha😂!) Another option is doing different training techniques on different plants and seeing what works the best for your grow style and space. Dont be afraid to screw things up as these plants are resilient and you take great care as evident by their health. The girls look great. Happy growing! 🍀💪

Hi! You could remove some fan leafs that could open some bud sights to more light. Fan leafs that are facing inwards they good to go. Also you could try super cropping. It's might cause some minor stress but good choise IMO. Or take some good old rope and tie them branches to side..

What Would You Do: Day 40 Defol, Yes / No?One plant's fan leaves are building trichomes, but it has more fan leaves than the other plant & they are needing to be tucked daily.
Both plants never had issues with the previous defoliating. 3-4 wks left before chop day.
