Autos transplant or Not to be is the ?

i'm not used to grow auto's alot and for me they stun wich makes them lose valuable time wich keeps them small and not producing a ton. My buddy on the other hand only grows auto's and he's been able to transplant & top them with a minimal stunting. According to him its all about timing.

Unless you have some circumstances that might require you to transplant.. don’t do it. Huge majority of autos are fems - so it’s not like you have to weed out any males. All the seeds that pop and look good - put in their final pot. Autos have a set timeline for their lifespan. Any restrictions to the plant or issues early on take away from vital growth in that first month. That’s the trick with autos IMO, is to maximize conditions for growth in the first 4 months while it’s still in the vegetative stage..

I based my decision off of what a personal friend told me, as well as a friend on here. they both said the same thing Roberts said: stick it right in the final pot. They said it for pretty much the same reason, too. Autos don't have time to deal with stress. I do believe one of them also said too much stress can make it start flowering early and short you at harvest. This is my first time growing an autoflower, so all i have is that to go on. So far, so good, though.

No. Never transplant a auto. They don't have time for any stress. Same goes with topping. Just lst them good. 👍
