Search online for Daily Light Integral (DLI) chart. The chart shows PPFD and hours per day. Then you can pick the light level based on how many hours you run the light.

Light height Hello all I have a mars hydro tsw 2000. I was noticing the recommended height is 24 inches for seedlings. Is this at 100% intensity? That's well over 1000 ppfd by my meter. I thought seedlings could only handle 200-400?

Vegetative Plants and UV?as my plants grow bigger I added the second light in the tent but that one doesnt have switches for UV, IR so when I plug it in all the bulbs are working. My concern is to hurt them with this because they are still in the vegetative phase. Is there anyone who knows about ths stuf

Light source change stress?Can changing light source cause stress to your plant? Yesterday I changed from a CFL to a 150w Mars Hydro LED and this morning she looked a bit "sad". I took the photo straight after watering hence the damp soil.

How far does my LED light need to be Currently growing Easy Bud Auto she's just over 4 weeks old my LED light is 300w and is currently 16inches from the canopy is this to far away??? i'm also growing in a 7.5 litre pot is this pot sufficient??? as Easy Bud Auto only reaches heights of 50-60cm indoors Thanks

Bad idea?Will a mars hydro TS1000 be too strong for a 60x60x140cm tent? I have been using a TS600 and TS1000 in tandem in a tent 4x too big for the light level, I have been growing strong and tasty buds but with low yields so downsizing my tent size to maximise the light.

Veg lighting approach? Switching from cfl to hps?I started my second grow a couple weeks ago with a 130w cfl in my 1m veg cupboard. I’m thinking I will make the switch to a 250w hps soon. I don’t want to overheat the space. Do you think this is a good strategy? I’ll flower the autos in my 1.4m tent with 600w hps.
