48 hours of darkness before harvest

SpaceMind
SpaceMindstarted grow question 4 years ago
Hello, I plan to let the plants sit for 48 hours before cutting them down. Once the 48 hours of darkness is over, do I simply cut them down right after with the lights off or is there another process that I should follow? Thanks!

Growers tend to take to light only as many as they can handle in an hour or so. When plant gets light, photosynthesis starts and you try to avoid it. Cut them straight if you go for dry triming or go girl by girl if you do wet. All idea is not only to put them in last stress for bigger trichs production, but let decarb start.

No other process to follow. You got it spot on. It's tempting not to look during the 48 hours but it's worth it if you don't. Enjoy the harvest
