THANKS

This light will be a little difficult to use in early vege. Keep a little extra distance and run at 50%, just a guess. The moment you see some stretch start, you have to begin ramping up light intensity. So, 40%, if it is working well is fine... this will be some trial and error for you to figure out what is best over time. each garden is a bit different. You'll need to fine-tune it to yours. Take a note or two. Test a different path next time, etc. If seedlings don't fall over or stretch, it's somewhere near the happy zone at least. They can handle more and you can use the plant to dictate -- the resulting distance between growth nodes is your guide. You don't want them lanky and you don't want them stacked on top of each other, either... somewhere between results in robust branches and well-spaced bud sites later on. When you start blasting full strength, this is my guesstimate: ok in 2.25m^2 you got 1904 umol/s of light -- assuming accurate specifications. Base don diode count but lacking familiarity with the bridgelux diodes, seems possible at the least. 1904 / 2.25 = 846 PPFD (this is great for ambient co2 and 12 hour cycles later with photoperiod plants) -- now, how high you are from the plants should be purely about geometry and shape of your light. So, 16-20" unless your coverage is more than 8-10" beyond frame on either side, which may need more distance from canopy and 66% power in vege, give or take is about as high as you will want to build up to on an 18/6 light cycle. If for any reason you are higher than 16-20", you can probably also push a bit higher than 66% power. This light is powerful. It will stunt plants in vege on an 18/6 cycle if you are not careful. you will def hurt the plants at 100% and a normal distance eventually. growth nodes would stack on top of each other and look like a dwarf plant almost. So, the suggestion is a starting point... you may find you want a bit more distance from canopy and use a few more watts.. you may find the plant can handle more and still grow well -- pls becareful, as the repercussions of 'too much light' can sometimes take a few days to set in. It may seem fine the first bit, but eventually it will stunt the growth or worse if more intense and faster acting. On a 12/12 cycle, you can go 100%, maintain existing distance from canopy that you found worked well in vege and be certain it'll work well. You need 150% of what you give over 18hours condensed to 12. It is proportional this way. If you could give "x umol" per day in vege, you can give it in bloom, albeit faster/more intense over 12 hours If you are growing Autoflowers, i'd suggest a larger area of coverage or run the light 66-75% and save a few watts. (75% would need additional distance from canopy, but this only evens out blanket of light on canopy, a good thing, but little wasteful with watts) Some personal preference comes into play here...

They don't need alot of light in the first 3 weeks wouldn't even consider bringing it up to full power until mid-late flower. Keep in mind the many variables when deciding how to light like can you adjust the height of the light? If so then you can Infact run it at a lower wattage by lowering the light or vice versa. So to answer your question I would actually lower it down to 25-30% until they have a few more nodes you want those ladies to pray not sulk.
