pH dropping

My pH is dropping in my RDWC (hydroponics) The thing is, it seems to be getting stable, after 5 days, so only 2 days before the new water change. Yesterday I changed my water in the morning, pH went from 5.4 to 6.0 after changing it (normal) and staid 6.0 for all day. I return...

Hey Grannie Next run, I will start a diary. I don't think there really is a root culture because I've been using h2o2 instead of Hydroguard. Atm, I think it's because roots partly block the RDWC system. Temps rise at night because I put the heating off when lights are on (warm enough then). I added pH up and saw that in a certain pot at the beginning of the RDWC, the pH staid higher, while the rest evend out faster. For the rest, my previous water change was at 0.8EC and they immediately started eating, after 6 days it was at 0.4 and then I changed it. Now I made it 0.9. Mainly to not overdue it since they stopped growing now and focus on the buds. EC has dropped in a day to 0.8. I did had some burned tips on the leafs, with the 2 last water changes. With the last one, some curled leafs, and one plant seems to get more bright green (they're on the darker side cause of some N tox I had). Not sure if it is a good or bad sign atm

You've got to give us a diary here, mate... The one thing I can tell you is that normally a severe swing downwards in your pH is indicating your EC is too high... and it's hard to get that pH stabilized after a reservoir change ... as another grower explained it to me: "If ph goes down it means the solution is too strong. There is a symbolic relationship between the roots and the culture in the solution. Is why it takes a few days to set ph after solution change. Your cultures have to reestablish. Why I don't change my solution first month. To develop healthy root cultures. Keep rot away naturally." He, btw, doesn't do a reservoir change at all until they hit flowering stage and he wants to switch to bloom nutes.... If you get your pH and EC stable, and it remains so for days, the plant is happy and working well with its environment and there's no need to make any changes... if you, for example, add more PK and the pH starts dropping, just replace some of the solution with pH'd water until things stablize again.... it's all a balancing act and you should have a definite reason for changing out the reservoir.... But it would STILL be good to see a diary here .... we could help you better with more information.. but I've asked you for that before... :-( Good luck! And Happy New Year!

I returned ever couple of hours. pH staid at 6.0. This morning I return, and it has decreased from 6.0 to 5.4 overnight and only overnight. Are elves putting pH down it my system or something? I'm at a loss here.
