lol @Ex_Alchemist , growinggrannie has around 3000 likes. she is doing a real shit job at faking it if you think that is substantial. The users I'm talking about are going from apprentice to grand master in a week and Guru in 6-8 months. That's absurd to me, I also only had aorund 300-400 likes beginning of last year "2022" and now 5000+ as I've been active in all the contests.

As the others have said it's about how many likes you get. Not just likes on diaries but also comments you make. It's took me nearly 5 years to hit grandmaster status. As others have pointed out there are ways to spam your account if your into that kind of thing, but really the status thing don't mean shit because people can spam it.

It's based on likes. It's not faking likes if you build a network and swap likes with folks. Once you reach guru you top out.

Its not about diaries. Its about the number of likes. If your active in the community and not a dick then people will like your comments. Once you hit 1000 likes your at the next level. Another option is to spam a copy paste on every diary you can. The diary owner will possibly like your comment. Lastly you could be like homer and run a bot. the bot will spam comment on diaries, The second part is having a second bot to spam like the first spam you did.

Yes, it's all based on "likes" - not on diaries... but I challenge Ex_Alchemist to tell us how to "fake likes" - you get "likes" by engaging the community, by being involved, by reaching out and establishing good and genuine relationships with other growers, by being helpful and respectful. Is it a stupid way of designating a level? Absolutely.

One other point to add, reply to everything in your diaries, ppl are more likely to like your reply even if it is salty, it makes it easier to amass likes from users who view the diary vs liking all the individual weeks of the diary. I tend to tell all the spamming bots to go fuck themselves, and your diary is littered with spam from all the fake gurus and grand masters. Its a sad part of the site but nothing is being done to fix it.

It's based on likes not diary count. 0-99 likes newbie 100-999 apprentice 1,000-4,999 master 5,000-100,000?? grand master anything over this Guru Rank means jack shit on this site, many users spam diaries with things like "great grow👌" in hopes you like it to self inflate to guru all in order to exploit the system and get free things like sponsorship's and seeds. If you really want to get past it. be engaging in the community so more people notice you and like your shit. Good Luck!
