I use ground malted barley as a dry amendmant all the time and swear by its usefulness.
I prefer the slow release benefits of this "flour" over any type of tea that may get flushed out more easily.
It is full of natural growth hormones.

seed sprout tea is amazing stuff!
It's right up there with compost tea, worm castings tea, fermented fruit juice, and fermented plant juice.
I love brewing teas, but i haven't in a while. I don't have any clue why i stoppe-, that's a lie. I stopped because my aeration stone took a dump.
I really need to get another.

When to start with nutes? This is what I gathered.From what I read, autoflowering should be given very little amounts of nutes; and - as a rule of thumb - I understood that:
- these should be approx. 1/4 the dosage suggested on the nutes bottles
- nutes feeding should start when the 4th layer of leaves pops up
