Is it better to adjust nutrition if using soil from a previous grow?

One of my grows is nearing the end and is being flushed this week ready for the chop on Saturday. Do I need to adjust the feed schedule for the next grow to account for any residual nutrients in the soil from the last grow? I am using BioBizz Light-Mix soil & full BioBizz range.

New plants = new soil. Trying to save money on this basic necessity is unwise. You only get out what you put in! Compared to the overall expense involved with growing, soil is only a minor cost. You also run the risk of diseases destroying your next crop due to build up of pathogens in the used soil, not to mention problems with pH and residual nutrient salts. Just don't do it, buy fresh, sterile, unpolluted soil and give your plants the best chance at life!

I usually get new soil... but you CAN mix in old soil after flushing and drying it... But you really should put in some Mykorrhiza to revive it before reuse.

Definitely reuse the medium if it isn't contaminated. All you need to do is buy a bag of BuildASoil Craft Blend and re-amend your soil. To do that, you just take a 2-4 cups of craft blend and mix it into a cubic gallon (7.5 gallons squared) of soil that needs refreshed. Easy peasy. I hope this helps.

Why are you wanting to reuse the old soil? That's a bad choice, from where I sit - unless you can't afford to buy new soil... Better to pitch it into your compost or fill in holes in your lawn or something.. good luck!

Was diese wiederum ausscheiden füttert deine Pflanze. Sie nimmt sich, was sie braucht. Ganz vereinfacht gesagt 😅👌 Viel Erfolg bei der baldigen Ernte 🤞

If you are using soil, flushing isn't necessary. Just water the last 2 weeks. You may need to reamend a few nutrients for the next grow, but a lot are slow releasing and stay in the soil for a while. Some compost often does the trick for me.

Hi there Im guessing your wanting to re use the soil? Personally for what its worth i think your better of starting with fresh soil every grow as its cheap and has basic nutrients for the first week or so but thats just my opinion, Best of luck 🌱
