I wanna use advanced nutrients 3 part system to start. Along with the reverse osmosis water I can get down the street. I like the pH perfect idea of it. What do you guys think? And when should I start feeding? Thanks in advance

I usually start AN when the first true leaves show up! Start low and work your way up, I tend to start at around 4ml/1gal and add another 4ml every feeding afterwards until I hit my max of 16ml/1gal. Very much depends on your plant and what she wants but my base for AN, I've never used the recommended doses since I was told by a lot of people to cut it 60% and go from there. As for the PH Perfect it does work quite well but depends on what PH the water is before you add your nutrients, after mixing mine will end up between 6 and 6.5.

Hey there Beastmode, hold your horses ! I've been around a while, and what i can tell you right now is that there's nothing perfect about the pH perfect line, the advanced nutrients have other lines which are great but i cant tell you how many times folks have had issues with "pH perfect" . First off the pH is not perfect, second it's not stable. If you end up getting it , and i hope you dont, you'll absolutely have to get some pH - and pH + regardless, you'll need to measure your pH much in the same way as any other nutrient line. RO water, i dont recommend it either, that's because normal water has minerals and microbes in it that usually are quite okay even beneficial for a plant. The only time i use RO water, or filtered-to-spec water is when the cannabis is in a highly regulated market like for pharmaceutical production, and even then i prefer not to if i can get away with it. The easiest thing for you to do , is get some pH perfect (if you insist) or anything other NPK and cal mag, then add humic acid as an additive which will fix any of the pH issues (pH 6.5) . it really helps if you get humic acid , especially if you're using pH perfect from AN. Hope this helps ! 🚀

With RO water you will need to add cal/mg as well. I would still make sure your ph is at the proper range before feeding. The ph perfect should keep it stabilized.

Hello good idea you have a good plan. Then begin to feed your plant after 2 weeks if you have light mix and if it is all mix wait 3 weeks before feed your plant. Good luck and good grow. Bye
