Recomiendan hacer una defoliación de las hojas grandes en esta planta? Soy cultivador de exteriores y no sé si realmente afecta al desarrollo floral quitarlas ya que ellas hacen un gran trabajo para tomar luz y hacer su síntesis 😁

I never in 40 years of growing outdoors, defoliate ever. Just remember...... Maximum amount of leaves = maximum amount of energy production = maximum amount of growth! Besides, if your plant would not need those leaves, it would not grow them in the first place!!

Don't listen to the guy claiming defoliation is, "bro-science." He doesn't know what he's talking about. In veg, I defoliate at Least once a week. It lets more light to branches, which in turn, help the branches grow. You'll have a lot more "main" branches with defoliation than you would by just leaving shade leaves cover those potential branches. In flower, i defoliate a little during weeks one and two. On week three, i do a heavy defoliation. It helps let light to more bud sites, thus helping your buds get bigger. After the heavy week three defoliation, i let the plant do it's thing. The only leaves i take off after week three are any shade leaves that point toward the middle of the plant. They usually cover buds and keep them in the shade, which isn't something you want. There are a couple good YouTube growers that go over this sort of thing. GrandMasterLevel is the best, in my opinion. He has a two-leaf "top" method, which basically tops each branch without the stress of topping or removing branch growth. There's also Mr. Growit and Beastcoastgrower420. They have a lot of very helpful information on indoor growing, as well.

My experience has been that defoliation for the most part is bro-science. Decreasing the area available for photosynthesis, decreases yield.

As the sun moves. You do not need to defol a plant at all outside. Yes, you can remove some of the main fan leafs after she is fully out of pre flower but it you are using any organic or dry additive powders. Don't, your leafs hold the goodness from your plant And also they can be a good source of food if you are a little short on feed for them. So I'd recommend leaving the end ones be that aren't covering any sites. But as I said. Ppl only defol indoors to lower RH and so on. And as grow lights are static ppl need the reveal sites to allow the light in. Good luck.
