Quality light is the number one thing period .next genetics.if people would spend money on a better light instead of wasting it on nutrients that grow company profits better than anything there grows would be better .stop following stoner bullshit .I use one balanced nutrient start to finish no need for anything else

While lights play an important part of getting the best harvest possible, it's not the ONLY part. Choosing the right strain is probably #1 here... if you don't grow a strain that is known for large, dense buds, you can't expect them. But the best thing you can do for your grow is to give it additional potassium and phosphorus during flower... those two nutrients are, first of all, focused pretty much solely on the flowers and making them as large and as dense as possible and, secondly, it's fairly difficult (though not impossible) to overdose on them. If you're growing in soil, you can use bonemeal and Langeinite to top dress (I've never used the bonemeal but when I grew in soil, I would use 1 tablespoon of Langbeinite as a top-dress once a month throughout the grow)... ready made liquid PK boosters are also offered by pretty much every nute line.... start giving the liquid boosters about the 2nd or 3rd week of flower. Good luck!

With 270w I get 4 plants, the buds come out hard and big but not always, it depends on the phenotype and the type of plant. Regular watering, letting the soil dry out, helps achieve these results, along with good fertilization and also good light. growdiaries.com/diaries/15443-too-hot-2 This one I did with 200w, of course I'm talking about LED; with 400w HPS it's already abundant for just one plant.

100% much more than needed for 1, but intensity, height, and the different wavelengths it uses will have much more to do with bud quality, compared to asking if xxx watts is enough... Could just be strain/pheno variation, in my first runs I had 2 dif phenos they looked like completely diff strains.
