Is it Bud Rot

Es Botrytis y suele salir en cultivos con humedad excesivamente alta con temperaturas medias entre 17/26 ,quizás por cortes o eridas que sufrió la planta, o algún a hoja muere y se seca dentro de un cogollo muy apretado que se acaba pudriendo. Suele salir en plantas con cogollos muy gruesos! Por desgracia me ataco la botrytis en algún último cultivo y conseguí salvar las plantas, ya que empezó afectar en fase muy tardía de la floración, el hongo no estaba bien desarrollado aun, y estuve revisando las plantas a diario y sacando hojitas de azúcar que vi que estaban afectadas, y sólo estirando un poco de la hojita sale sola, relentizando el ataque no me hizo falta cortar las plantas afectadas y saque el cultivo adelante!! It's bud rot for sure, i would cut it out and check all the other plants after you wash your hands, and if you see anymore pluck it as well, you don't need to cut the whole plant down just the offending buds, and make sure you sterilize the area for your next grow...Good luck!!

Sorry to inform you yes its bud rot. Discard the entire bud in your hand. I would also do a thorough cleaning of your entire grow space.

And just a p.s... it goes without saying that you should NEVER smoke any bud rot!

I hate being able to identify bud rot just from a photo - but I can... and you do have it. The tell-tale sign for me are the completely dead leaves ... you'll be able to pull them out VERY easily ... examine every bud for these leaves - and examine them every day. If you find more, you can choose to either cut the whole bud off OR just excise a portion of the bud out but make sure you get all the rot... then spray that area with a 2% alcohol solution. Keep your utensils (knife, scissors, whatever) sterilized as well as your hands... don't move from one bud to the next without sterilizing your equipment/hands. You'll be able to save SOME of your buds ... but if you find you're having to cut out rot every day, you may want to consider harvesting early.... Sorry!

yes ... its is.... and no not the whole plant only very generous cleaning up most time its only the tops ckeck all tops,, pull on the little sugarleaves if they move there is rot under it if you harvest,,,,,,,,,clean up all suspicious parts because it goes on wile curing too dont miss the rotten parts

if the bus is mushy and smells and sugarleaves curl or easy to pull its rotten.... i cant tell it 100 percent in your case if material has another consistence than the rest of the buds its rot

Looks like it .but did you find any mushy spots? Looks dead
