Tap root surfaced

Thanks everyone I just hope I caught it in time. The root horse shoed, so end of root was just above the first two leaves so I wasn’t sure the best way to reposition it. I basically laid it on its side covered the root and left the two leaves uncovered as much as possible. hopefully the root will start to grow down and the stem will grow up. The leaves were slightly yellowish from no light. Thanks again for the input and info guy's. Much appreciate. Happy gardening.

Not a problem. I broke a tap root end off an auto once and still planted it .it grew fine and produced 60 grams

I had this happen a few time you will be fine.

As long as the root wasn’t damaged you should be fine!

Hello, they should be just fine. They will find a way. In nature seeds are just falling from i.e. a tree, so they meant to position themselves. Maybe she will need one day extra to break through soil.
