Hello, is it possible to connect a dimmer to the power output of a power supply if it doesn't have a built-in dimmer? The COB LED itself can be dimmed. The question is specifically about the "Optic 1XL" Grow Light. Thank you for all the answers!

The LED power supply's purpose is to keep the voltage and current at a constant rate, and thus it controls dimming from inside the power supply. If the power supply does not have a separate pair of wires to connect a dimmer, then your last hope is to check for built-in dimming adjustment. This is usually in the form of screw hidden underneath a round rubber plug on the power supply's that have a metal case (water resistant).

I thought those lights came with a dimmable Meanwell power supply. What power supply do you have?
Depending on the model of power supply you may need an external dimmer control. They are inexpensive. Or some power supplies have adjustments you make through holes in the case with a small screwdriver.

The heat problem was back... well, now I had to hang the lamp 40cm higher, just put in new poles and made the tent taller. I hope it's not too bad for the ladies. But there was no other way; the temperature at the highest point of the plant was sometimes 33 degrees.

LED Kelvin Temp 3000k-6500kIs there a massive difference in colour temperature/kelvin of LED's if the lumens, PAR, watts, intensity and every other aspect you can think of is the same but its temp/kelvin is lower? I use a 6500k LEDs, may mix in or switch to 3000K for better flowers if its proven to work.
