Hey Grower I'm just about to start my 3rd run and so far I haven't been able to avoid stretching. I have a 150-watt LED. The first time I had a 1 meter distance for germination and the seedling stage, and for the 2nd run, it was 75 cm. How low can or should I set the lamp? Thank you!

you can put your hand there, and if it doesn't burn you at that height, you can leave it. I have mine about 25 cm away.

Solo cups vs clear plastic cups for seedlings I'm gonna plant sprouts in solo cups, but thought it might be cool to use clear plastic cups (to see when roots reach the edges). Would it be bad to use clear plastic cups? Maybe the roots/soil won't like the light idk?

Second seed had been growing wrong way up.Turns out my second seed was growing upside down and the taproot had been growing towards the light for ~8 days. I've since transplanted and the seed doesn't seem to be growing much at all; although it has changed colour from being a yellowish hue to green. Is it likely a dud now

How much light for seedlings?I've got three small seedlings with a fourth coming shortly. How much light intensity should they be getting? I have a 300W 3K LED 30" of the tops running on a 18-6 schedule. The LED is on its lowest setting because I read the the seedlings can be light sensitive.
