I have a reflector and some TCL neon lights to put my autoflowering plants to grow after germination until they're ready to be on the balcony. But it doesn't work. Does anyone recommend a regular bulb that I can use until I get a new reflector? THANKS

Very good, look for the low consumption ones, the CFLs work really well for good growth.

Can a 1000w LED grow light be closer than 60cm (24") to a seedling?Different sources are saying: 1000w LED light should not be closer to a seedling than 60-75cm (24"-30"). The seedling should be getting 5000-7000 lux, 100-300 PAR (PPFD 18h) and 12-20 DLI.
Question: Can I put the light closer at ~40cm, dimmed to match the needed lux, par and dli

Light Burn? Mars Hydro TS3000 at 30% Power, 26 inches away per manual. I have since raised back to 30 inches.Is this light burn? I noticed some slight yellowing/crispy looking leaf at day 11. Light is about 30% Power, about 30 inches away. I previously had it about 26 inches and raised when I noticed this issue about 24 hrs ago. Pics are updated.

Slow indoor seedling growth4 days since sprout, issues with light timer, seedlings ended up getting 48 hrs of light after they sprouted, and this AM I found that the timer did not turn the light back on so it got 11 hours of dark last night instead of 6. Could this be detrimental to seedling?

- I have a greenhouse ceiling that covers 50% of the terrace
- should I grow the plants always under this ceiling, or if it is beneficial to expose the plants to direct sunlight?
- If so, how old the plant has to be to expose it to the sunlight? I don't want to burn my seedling

T5 veg? For seedlingsIf anyone has any idea how long I can veg my seedlings inside of a closet with 2 t5 fluorescents.. let me know! Distance from pot to light during germinationWorried about our light power and distance to the pots, should we be running it at full power with the light higher in the tent or vice versa? SeedlingsThis is my first grow and waiting for them to sprout out, I first soaked them in water over night on a seedling heat mat then put them into soil in these pots and into the plastic propagator in a dark room, should i take them out put them under lights now or wait til they sprout?
