You know once something electrical starts going on the fritz. It's probably best to replace it. Especially since you're losing photons. I understand if you're in a budget then I'm sure operating the light until harvest with driver should be fine but if you have the means to replace the light I definitely would so you can get back those valuable photons.

Those lower end MH models are shitty I will say that. As far as Build quality. They sent me a TS1000 for free to try, and a FCE4800. You’d think they’re made by different companies (which they’re probably manufactured by different companies for sure).. Shoulda added this in first answer but I used their TS1000 they sent for breeding tent and it was an OK light for PPFD, but days after first using it - a buzz developed that sounding like arcing basically. Very sketchy. They told me it was normal after I sent them a video. Some electrical folks I know said the contrary.. they ended up replacing the driver which fixed it, tho I immediately gave it away. Anyways, listen for anything sketchy like that. Frankly I wouldn’t use it in this condition for long.

Probably safe, but you’re losing a lot of photons. Sucks cuz you need that power now with flower beginning
