Lights for heat- 24/7 okay?

I really need the heat of the lights to keep the inside of my tent warm. To warm the air around the tent 24/7 would be expensive- much more expensive than using the lights all the time. But will this work with 24 hour lights? Will that stress the plants? Using auto flowers.

technically. Yes plants can be grown under 24 hour light. according to studies done on plants grown in 24 hour light. You have autoflowers so give it a try and see how it goes.. Definitely someone will come along and be like NO this what I do.. But science and studies done says plants will develop a Circadian rhythm even under 24 hour lighting so as long as they autoflower like they are suppose to you should be A-ok.

Is that just a light burn or could it be something else?One bud in the middle of my plant is much lighter than all the others, which all look healthy and green. I think it was due to the too small distance of my light, which was only 20cm (8") between canopy and light. I have now moved the light to 35cm (14").

Idiot - new light, wrong sized grow tentSo I’m an idiot. All this time I thought I had and 80/80cm grow tent, when it turns out it’s actually 60/60, and I of course just ordered the SF2000 light, which is almost 65cms on one side. Light hanging distanceI’m not sure how high to hang my light. My plants seem to be all staying extremely squat and not stretching, though all seem healthy. I’ve been fiddling between 18-28 inches and 600-800 ppfd (ios meter app) and I can’t find a distance that seems to make them happier. D26 autos
