Hi iam using Airpots for around 18 months now.Its alitle tricky in the begnning until you are used to handle them. in the beginning just small amounts around the plant...Dont need to saturate the whole soil... if the plant is really big and needs big amounts of water.. you have to be patientwith the watering. If you have to give your plant 1l then do it in small steps. And dont let dry out the airpots to much , then its vry difficult to water them. I do it like this ( big plant) i water daily... and one time in the week i take the airpot, put it into my bathtub and give her slowly big amounts of lukewarm water , until all soil is saturated. Then let them stand for 1-2 hours and take them back to growroom. Use apot under the airpot too, so you are fine and dont mess to much water. Its akinda training but after the grow you are used to. Airpots are just great. They are doing the" aircut" on the roots... roots want to grow out of the holes, then they notice ... oh here is no way,,, they turn around and webbing in the pot.. so in the end your airpot is full of a nice rootsystem very webbed.. you know more roots more fruits......hope i answered if more questions to come just ask

Cannabis is a plant with great water needs, but it also tolerates very little excess watering, so it is easy to make mistakes. By following these simple tips you will get an optimal result throughout your culture: Cannabis is a plant that does not like to receive a light watering continuously. It is imperative to water in large quantities, then wait until the soil is dry before watering again! A good watering requires a good watering can 🙂 * To calculate the amount of water needed for each plant, follow this rule: The volume of water to be given during each watering must represent at least about a quarter of the volume of the pot !! for a pot of 1L, give 0.25L of water at each watering for a pot of 4L, give 1L of water to each watering for a pot of 12L, give 3L of water with each watering Good luck for your grow May the force be with you 💪

I initially water with less and as time goes, I water more and more. I'm in week 10 Auto, soon to harvest. She drinks 2 to 3L every 24 hr now, VS .5L per 24 hr when younger. The more water given to the plant in let say in week 5, will flood the coco top, and drain slowly soaking all the coco. Also, just water slow, so the water does not run off the top through holes, and try not to water in the same spot every time... The only thing negative thing I could say is if the humidity is low, the plant needs more water because of evaporation?? i'm guessing the little holes in the side help O2 in, but can let moisture out??? IDK, Mate might be better answers to your question, hope it helps...
