How and when to properly do lollipopping? Is it a single or a multiple day process, what would cause less stress? I wanted to do it on more than one day, try a slow process, just remove from bottom to top whatever won't get enough light, any suggestions?

hey there Mopish, I do lollipopping in a single day, but when i do it the plants are much taller and larger than the ones you're working with. That being said you have the right idea about reducing the stress as much as possible. If you insist on getting it done, i would say wait a few more weeks in veg before you flip, and do it one or two weeks before the flip. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Here another grower in rdwc and i never lollipop. First of all you reduce yield because she has less leaves that produce photosynthesis and second you get a good extra on popcorn buds. I'm on Roberts on this one. It also causes stress that's unnecessary, in combination with an unnoticed instable feed or ratio you can get hermie's too. On a single plant i get around 20 grams good popcorn and 200 grams of dense, sticky buds. Full of resin too usually. The popcorn goes to my sister or for a good oil or thc drink ;)

Don't do it. Ruins a harvest for a handful of choice buds. Looks neat but that is about it. If you wish it is a strip the plant of everything but you selected tops. Unfortunately you cut all the energy producing leaves away is what kills the final weight. Good luck and happy growing 🌱
