Hi @EuphoricDiaries! Considering you're now on LED, 40cm is a good distance for such a young plant. I think you can even push as close as 25-30cm, if you have a good airflow and if the lamp is not emitting too much heat. Do the universal hand-test to ensure your apical summit won't burn. Switching from CFL to LED should help you to control your temps and avoid heat stress, while giving a better spectrum to your baby. Combining spectrum is also an effective method, you can try later when your plant will enter flowering stage, by mixing CFL+LED you will dramatically increase your yield (as long as your environment remains OK, temps, humidity ...).
