what constitutes most fertilizers comes from a fairly limited set of options. They are ubiquitous.. you should think of various ingredients like generic Rx.. molecularly exaclty (though multiple mulecules provide n, p or k et al, and should be considered individually) the same, therefore same/similar effects. read teh detailed ingredients label and see it's the same stuff in slightly different options/combos. you have to worry about the same things that are always a concern. Primarly, what you are adding calcium to.. some things may need to be dissolved separately.. once dissolved it's generally not a concern unless you are making some stock, highly concentrated stuff. Calcium will easily form a precipitate with sulfur, i believe? if you just mean switching from one brand to next with the same plant, no big deal.. if the resulting concentration and ratio of nutrients is the same, you'll have similar results.

Hello. My advice is; Use the N-P-K or the Micro, Grow and Flowering fertilizers from the same company as a base, but you can add other things like humic acid or enzymes or bud enhancers or Cal-mag or sugars. As long as your not doubling up on the base N-P-K you should be fine. Chuck.

I would advise against it but if you know what you're doing (from reading the labels), you should be fine

Yes. As long as you know what all the nutrients are you can mix things up and create your own ratios. I like to keep all the nitrates together in veg like cal nitrate pot nitrate etc.. or in flower a sulfate based nutrient to lower pH. So yes rotating what the nutrients are derived from can be advantageous. Check out my journals I use micro from gh and overdrive from advanced nutrients or maxi bloom from gh and do just fine in hydro.

Some brands work well with each other. What mostly clashes is if you use dif bloom/ grow boosters. Enzyme wise, or anything soil condition wise is fine. Biobizz works well with other nutes. But, try stick to the same brand of base nutes Good Growing

I wouldn't do it on purpose as each manufacturer will have different ratios in their nutrients and this can lead to your plants missing out on what they need. That said, I have run out of nutrients mid-grow many times and switched to a new brand. As long as you keep an eye out for any problems and don't treat the new nutrients as a 1 for 1 replacement for the old ones you should be fine.

I don't feel it's advisable nor advantageous. Usually you'll find nutrient line's have they're own preferred feed schedules that should be fallowed for best results and if you try to throw in or mix match other nutrients...well things can get a little sketchy for the novice or even intermediate grower. I hope this helps.
