Why so Short? What am I doing Wrong?

Auto period plants are naturally more short and stout. You can fill up the space more by low stress training them for more main tops since they will only get so tall anyway. Not really doing anything wrong since the plant looks happy!

Is it normal for my seedling to be at only one inch height after 8 days? Technically it did take about 2 days to sprout after planting. So I suppose it's really only been 4 days since sprouting. Slight yellowing on the leaves as well. My last auto was a huge fail.Week 2

I'm under attack!I think I have a solo predator here guys! The damage is localised to the left main branch in 2 places and the top of the main cola and just below.
I have made up some washing up liquid pesticide and drenched the whole plant and vegetation around.
Could it be something else?

best leaf insects repellentI have found a few bad insects on my plants past weeks. Does anyone have experience with neem oil? Is it worth a try or would I be better of buying something else?
White vinegar with dishsoap didn't help much.
The bugs are: grasshoppers, stinkbugs, spidermites & fungus gnats.

What is the right way to place yellow sticky traps?I'm having some fungus gnats and was planning to begin LST in a couple of days so I can't keep the traps in the pot near the soil like I have them now. Springtails in Waste water CoCoHi all, I have just watered my almost 3 week old plants, they are in coco, and I collect the waste water to measure my PH values. To my great surprise I saw something moving in my waste water (see photo).
I did some searching on the internet and found that they are springtails.
