never , keep feeding them lightly , flushing is a myth and seems crazy to starve them during their vigorous times. I do tend to back the nutes off in the very last week . The drying is the key to clearing all the harshness. low temp ( 19.°c ), low humidity( 40%) and slowly dried ( 10 days at least) The chlorophyll in the leaves is what gives the harsh hit. If allowed to be used up and eventually immobilised by drying , the buds will convert the small sugar leaves into a final snack and then a shirt cure in airtight jars for about a week and the terps will be properly available as the gassy smells get released during "burping".

Flushing is usually commenced two weeks before harvest. If the plant has an eight-week flowering period, the flushing will need to take place six weeks after the start of the flowering stage, It is best to take a close look at the trichomes on your plant to assess when your cannabis is likely to be ready for harvest. If the tiny trichomes are just beginning to turn from clear, to a cloudy and milky color, this could be a good indication that the plant can begin flushing, It should be timed so that the majority of trichomes will have fully changed to the desired color for harvest after two weeks – this gets easier with experience, so stick with it

The last few days you won’t really need nutrients. Flushing for the sake of flushing is a myth - only if you have used too many nutrients is flushing beneficial. Most growers do it at the end anyway because adding nutrients in the last few days doesn’t really help add weight, so you may as well save the nutrients.

Start flush when pistils have mostly all browned in the end of bulking. Flushing will take the bitter taste of nutrition out of the plant. Also making for a smoother smoke. At this stage the plant is done growing and is ripening. This will also encourage ripening once the plant uses up stored nutrition. I have tried it both ways, and I will flush every time. So you should be on ph water now. Enjoy the harvest.

From zooming on your diary images, you don't have any amber trichomes yet, most are still transparent some are milky. Your pistils have turned orange. I think you have a couple of weeks left if you want a hard hitter. With regards to flush, you need to start the flush 14 to 10 days before harvest so you can give them 1 more give feed and then start the flush. More details: Get yourself a jeweller's loupe (ideally, but a magnifying glass or even your phone camera will do) and check the bud trichomes. You will thank yourself because cutting early gives you the feeling of missed potential. Once you have looked at the magnified trichomes, you should look for the milky trichomes. The milky trichomes are full of THC. The transparent one's are undeveloped (less THC) and the amber ones are a bit overdeveloped because the THC will have started deteriorating. Since not all trichomes switch at the same time, I would aim for 20% amber trichomes. More amber trichomes creates more of a body high (usually associated with indica strain) while less amber trichomes gives you more of a head high (usually associated with sativa strains). P.S. Following pistils (the white hairs on the buds) alone is not reliable but you want to have most of them turn orange and start to curl. Good luck on the rest of your grow 😃. Looks like a good yield

some like to let the yellow mellow, but definitely after dropping a dook. oh, you mean the magic of end of harvest flushing? meh.. whenver you feel like it because it makes zero difference :P starving the plant of building blocks won't improve growth of any kind. Looks like you already have some deficiencies. I would not starve it further. you have a fair amount of time left from what i can see... long hairs with calyxes that need to plump around them.
